Turns out he can fling bombs with a simple punch.Īlso, swivel cannons can be added onto his head for an extra long distance attack. Originally the plan was for him to suicide punch buildings to death. I decided to give him armor and two bomb holders.Įnter WalkingMechMk2. Here's Cherno in action with the download link "MECHMARK1" below. They don't actually change the position of the arms drastically. The steering hinge arms you see are really just for show. It functions the same as MkI, with the exception of massive suspension spring support for the punching devices on it's chest. Enter, MechMKII, for simplicity's sake, I will call him Cherno from now on. ![]() It's definitely something you need to practice with.Īfter making that robot set, I decided to up the scale a bit and toss on a contraption for actually doing damage, besides stomping around. To move in the opposite direction, it would be "8 and J" together and "5 and H" together. This makes the pistons move the machine via pulling the center of origin around. You would alternate pressing "8 and H" together and then "5 and J" together. Let's say you want to move in one direction. It's sort of hard to explain how to move. There are controlled with 8, 5, and 4, 6. ![]() It has four legs, two opposing are bound to the "J" key and the other two are bound to the "H" key.įor moving in a direction, there are four pistons that move outwards in a plus sign from the center. It's a robot that walks via alternating pistons. So I've been trying to make a real walking mech in Besieged inspired by this guy.
